The main difference was that we had incredible talent and through these channels we excelled. We all prospered in the sense that we were somehow protected from the other darker elements of society that engulfed the kids with poverty, crime and drug abuse. It was a blessing and a gift from god for all of us ,no doubt to be associated with this group. I sometimes pray that their could be more places like that today, that could enlighten a youths mind and give them the encouragement that is so often sought for, but never found.

These youths often look into many of the wrong places because of a lack of direction. This is why I want to advocate and lead the way for all youths and artists no matter where they're from around the world to paint to their hearts content and to be creative and to paint legally and try painting on canvas. Back then everything had a different level of excitement due to the introduction of a new art form for what seemed to be for inner city kids. We turned it into a bonanza and actually experimented with its primary stages. Today's art now is just about in its refined stages and you have such a worldly renowned convention to the point that it's so unpredictable. Because of what I did in 1972-1973 with the 3-D effects, you can now today almost 30 years later, take this dimension to an almost surreal stage because all of the primary groundwork has been studied and laid out for everyone who's into the who's, who and the what's, what of the science of masterpiecing throughout the years.
